Questions, answered
What is the Google Ad Grant and why do accounts get suspended?
Google Ad Grants gives eligible nonprofits up to $10,000/month in free Search ads. Google deactivates accounts that fall below a 5% CTR for two months, lack valid conversion tracking, or break structure/keyword rules. Tercel watches for all of these.
Will Tercel change my Google Ads account?
Not unless you let it. Tercel is read-only by default — it reports risks and proposes fixes. Auto-enforcement is an opt-in setting on Growth and Agency plans.
How does the Guardian plan work?
Guardian is free for 30 days, then $5/month. It audits your account automatically and emails you the moment something puts your Grant at risk.
Do I need to give Tercel my password?
No. You connect through Google’s official OAuth consent screen. Your tokens are encrypted and isolated to your organization; you can disconnect anytime.
Can Tercel create campaigns for me?
Yes — on Growth and above, Tercel reads your website and documents and drafts compliant, mission-aligned Search campaigns for your review, created paused so you approve first.
